In Keeping everyone apprised at Just what to expect when Installing one of John Huber's Excellent Frictionless Trigger's, I have to Place a call to Gary their P&R Guy early Monday Morning. Evidently Timney has Little Regard for their customer's Real Need's offering the Trigger that they do & have in the past for these rifle's so I will not spend my Hard earned dollars on their Low Performance, ILL Engineered Luke waste of money Trigger assembly. That is what set's Huber concept's Trigger a Cut above the rest John Huber Engineered & designed his trigger to work with the existing Factory Husqvarna trigger assembly and he has done so by using an Ingenious Twin Precision Ball Bearing design which provide's a Millisecond Lightning Fast fast Timing Mode, where as the Bullet is Gone Long before you expect it to be, eliminating any Flinching what so ever, which is Very Common on Big Recoiling caliber's which means to The shooter supreme accuracy of the weapon as you are not waiting on a compressed spring to let lose of your trigger Sear. Not Only do you have to Hack UP a Gorgeous stock to use it, as well as Modify the Gun's Safety lever system & the Trigger consist's of letting off the trigger of a gun through Spring Pressure on the gun's action sear and everyone Know's over time Springs ALWAYS change and get weak or stretch.

This Trigger Issues has kept me from doing that, and I am Not a Lover of Timney's Luke warm Attempt Trigger assembly that they are currently offering. I have had many High end rifles in the past 40 Years' and being that I am a Collector of fine firearms I am also a hand Loader who strives for perfection in making One Ragged hole group's on Target with my rifles. To me, it is the Only Fault of a finer High quality rile. I am not the Least Bit Surprised, The Trigger Pull on these Husqvarna Model 1640 action's is at best Horrid. Regards, The GeneralĬhecked the pull weight on my 1640 last evening. I will Post some pictures of traget's shot with thie new trigger soon. To me, this is the best thing to add to your Husqvarna Model 1640 action if you strive for accuracy and a Precision Trigger Huber concept's has sure filled that Need with Style, precision and High Quality. Here is the Instructions as well as how the Huber trigger looks in a Husqvarna rifle. I look forward to getting this gun on the Range this coming week to see what kind of group's it will print now. Once this trigger was installed I set it at 3/4 of a Pound with No creep and it feels as smooth as Velvet when the trigger breaks clean now.

I did end up having to remove a slight amount of wood down around my Trigger Guard assembly in my wood stock due to Extra wood in that area, Stock's will differ as S&W apparantly made the wood to fit these action's and barrels, but it was very Minimal and will Not hurt the strength, or Integrity of the stock. Once that has been Taken out replace it with the Huber concept's trigger and adjust your trigger to your liking per the Instructions shown. The direction's are very straight forward, all you will need to do is Take your Barrel & action out of your stock, then Tap the trigger Pin out of the Trigger assembly with a small Punch and hammer and remove the stock trigger.
